R-6898 is one type of alcohol-soluble lamination polyurethane resin of resistance to water boiling for the production of benzene-free and ketone-free gravure printing ink, this resin not only has excellent pigment wetting performance. Good adhesion to polar substrates such as PET and non-polar substrates such as OPP, and outstanding overall performance. R-6898 has good compatibility with similar polyurethane resin, nitrocellulose resins, PVB resins, EVA resins, and aldehyde/ketone resins on the market. Could be completely diluted with alcohol solvents during using finished printing ink; it is tough and elastic, with good anti-tack properties; when producing printing ink for non-polar substrates such as OPP, a adhesion promoter such as polyketone should be added to improve adhesion.
